Listen & Watch: Tokyo Cafe Ambience During Cherry Blossom Season

- If you miss traveling or want to experience Japan, try watching this beautiful video of an atmospheric Tokyo cafe during cherry blossom season

I discovered something pretty cool recently on YouTube. There are a few channels that create 3D depictions of scenes and pair them with nice music. If I had more time at the moment, I could actually see myself creating these types of videos.
If you have a large screen or an iMac, this is a great way to change the ambiance of your environment. I know during quarantine and the travel bans, I’ve personally felt a bit of cabin fever. I don’t know how I discovered these videos, but I’m obsessed with them. This one in particular is a Tokyo cafe. This article was previously for a 1980s Kissaten style cafe, but the video has since been removed, unfortunately.
But this video is also worth sharing. It looks like a cafe I’ve actually been to in Nakameguro. It perfectly captures the beautiful and peaceful ambiance of a Tokyo cafe during Cherry Blossom season with lots of cafe background noises as well. After the last year, the sounds of a bustling cafe are very much welcomed.
Japan has a different rhythm to life, a more peaceful and harmonious rhythm that can only happen when you integrate nature into both your city and your life. Nature slows you down, it slows down your brainwaves, and it forces people to live more presently. Perhaps that’s one reason why the people are healthier in Japan.
